Lili, A Formiguinha Adventure in Porto Alegre
Lili, A Formiguinha Adventure in Porto Alegre
Descrição
The fun story created by Gabriela Costa is close to a metaphor for the desire that male and female workers have to leave for a while the obligation imposed by the system to continuously and obsessively produce material goods. Giving her adventurer Lili the right to have more days as a cicada than as an ant, the creative author inverts the unilateral logic of La Fontaine's fable and oxygenates the repetitive environment of the anthill. The author's restless and courageous ant, through a story that could be a cinematic script for a fantastic journey, gets involved in delicious blunders and finds himself involved in very funny coincidences that certainly find receptivity in the free and creative imagination of children. In this narrative line of a trip full of surprises, the author inserts very important information about culture and environmental preservation in Brazil. And what a beautiful partnership with Fabiana Amaral, whose sensitivity in treating the script with beautiful and precise illustrations, makes us travel with growing interest and a constant smile. Timely and fundamental work for children, both on a literary and visual level.
