This dictionary does not intend to cover all the rich diversity of Umbanda vocabulary in the national territory and abroad, much less its liturgical variations, vestments, calendar, fundamentals, etc., which often vary from house to house, from segment for segment. As a selection criterion, we chose the most frequently occurring words, without neglecting regionalisms, variants and others.
