Cordel Africa - César Obeid

The book proposes a visit, through cordel literature, to the different cultures that crossed the Atlantic - coming from the distant African continent -, merged on Brazilian soil and took on their own dimensions. Awareness of the enormous influence of these cultures on the daily lives of all Brazilians will help in the attempt to put an end to the prejudices that, unfortunately, haunt our society to this day. To illustrate all this wealth of details in the form of rhymes, a digital illustration technique based on woodcuts was chosen.
