Pack Gourd and Pump for Chimarrão with Filter

Drinking Chimarrão is much easier.

When you want to enjoy a good yerba mate, you don't need to go any further. Prepare it yourself, using the Special Gourd Set for Chimarrão.

The set includes everything to enjoy the drink, according to the usual tradition and method: the gourd, the domed drinking pump and a filter to remove any impurities in the yerba mate.

How to prepare Chimarrão

Place the yerba mate in the gourd. Use approximately 2/3 of the space.

With one hand, cover the mouth of the gourd and place the yerba mate on just one side, leaving space from the bottom to the mouth of the gourd free.

Add warm or cold water, being careful not to wet the mat (herb in the mouth of the gourd).

Leave the chimarrão to simmer for a few minutes (the gourd must be placed or found).

Place the pump in the empty part of the gourd (cover the mouth of the pump with your thumb) inserting it deep inside - leave it on a piece of grass.

The first infusion (or first gourd) can be spit out.
