This book deals with the complex relationship between Economy and the Environment. The result of joint work between renowned professors and researchers in the area affiliated with the Brazilian Society of Ecological Economics, it aims to fill a gap in the literature. It is the only reference in Portuguese that deals with Environmental Economics from a perspective informed by international literature and the main experts on each subject but with a focus on the Brazilian reality. The long experience accumulated by the contributing authors, all professors and researchers from Brazilian universities, allowed the creation of a versatile manual capable of guiding courses in various disciplines at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
