Vinicius de Moraes reinvented love. The theme seemed old when he combined the poetry of books with popular music, bringing love to the center of attention as an emotion always new. Organized by the poet Eucanaã Ferraz, Todo amor brings together more than a hundred fragments — including letters, chronicles, poems and song lyrics — that form an admirable and passionate panel. From “I know that I will love you” to “Song sad”, the reader can observe the enormous variety of forms that this feeling takes in the poet’s production: joy, sadness, jealousy, absolute devotion, veneration, repentance, forgiveness, the comic move and the expectation of the end.
