Public Accounting, by authors Roberto Bocaccio Piscitelli and Maria Zulene Farias Timbó, is a book that addresses Public Accounting in its main concepts and processes and aims to identify and evaluate the direction and role of the State, as well as the management of resources and the final destination of public spending. The Brazilian political-administrative structure is presented, in addition to the public budget itself. Revenues, expenses, bids, contracts, agreements, inventories, balance sheets, in addition to the programming and financial execution of public accounts, everything is treated with a modern conception, always taking into account that accounting information is a fundamental element of the entire dynamics of the process that aims to achieve government goals. In this 14th edition of Public Accounting, in addition to a complete review with updating and expansion of the content, due to the modifications and a more critical view of reality, teaching resources were included to enhance learning and application of the topics.
